Deepika’s office with new furniture and decor
"Has something changed?!" many clients and colleagues have asked as they've entered my office the past few weeks. Yes, and no! There is new furniture and decor, but it is generally in the same place, and has many people doing double takes. Don't worry though, the vibe is super cozy and for anyone who was concerned, Miss Nibby is adjusting just fine!
I thought I'd figured out an optimal plan for my family and I this fall, but, surprise, things changed! I am trying to accept the reality of change and embrace what will work best NOW, instead of clinging to the idea I had in mind... So, due to a number of factors, I am changing my plans and will not be adding another day to my schedule. I will continue to be in the office a longer day on Wednesdays, and shorter day on Thursdays. However, I will now be starting my office hours at 9 am on both days!
In an exciting change, I'd like to introduce you to my new office mate, Natalie Mereniuk, who will be sharing my space every Friday starting in October! Natalie's therapeutic style is heart-centred and flexible and she has a lovely approachable presence. She uses a wide variety of techniques, and brings a wealth of experience and training. Natalie is currently accepting clients and you can take a peek at her website for more information.
For colleagues who may be interested, I'm still looking for another roomie on Mondays, Tuesdays or on the weekend. It is a great chance to get into an established group practice in the heart of the Ritchie community. Our office is really great, the colleagues fantastic and the neighbours are definitely worth visiting - Kind Ice Cream, Magpie Books, Transcend Coffee, Little Dutchess, Acme Meats, Campio, Donut Party.... the list goes on!
The fall is a time with lots of transitions - school and work schedules shifting, leaves falling and shorter days... As things change for you and yours, I hope you can be gentle with yourself and create space for the possibilities that exist when we allow shifts. A change of plans, or schedule, saying no to something that no longer feels right, standing your ground where you haven't before. Change keeps happening and I'd be happy to support you as you navigate it. And, I appreciate your understanding as I navigate my own.
With gratitude,
Deepika
