I hope this finds you and yours healthy and well during this magnificently different summer. World events certainly have changed the pace and tone of day to day life, conversation… everything. Within it all, there is such a need for making choices that support our wellness and mental health.

I am excited to tell you about a new place you can connect with me and take time to look after yourself. As of today, you can find me sharing some insight and practices in the Heart + Bones online studio. Heart + Bones yoga is the leading online yoga, movement education and wellness platform, founded by my friend and colleague, Brea Johnson. I am a huge fan of Brea’s accessible and loving approach to yoga. The studio also offers continuing education and yoga teacher training courses. Move with love is the philosophy and practice.

When Brea asked me to join the online studio, she gave lots of space for me to say no… but for me, it was a ‘yes!'. Brea’s style is one which acknowledges the whole person, invites life’s messiness and is gentle and conscious. Brea has been a partner in my own self-care and healing, and I feel confident this working partnership is well aligned. Plus, several years back, when Brea first started her journey to sharing teachings online, I had a sense one day perhaps I would join! Today is that day :) Knowing this was a good fit for me, it seems perfect the first set of teachings I am sharing is about boundaries.

For members of my community, Heart + Bones is offering a promotion of $1 for 1 month. Please note, the system will automatically charge $22 for the next month if you want to continue. If you don't want to continue, simply cancel your account (you will still have access to classes until the end of your payment period.)

Taking time from motherhood to talk about healthy boundaries, and share strategies towards them, was something I was happy to do. My friends at Baat Cheet Films did an astounding job with the footage and were very gracious when I had little visitors pop by mid-filming! During this time, when I cannot meet with you in person, I hope these online offerings can be of support.

Virtual hugs,

Deepika
